Dear Chatham and Surrounding Counties,

Welcome to EPACT, Inc. It is my sincere wish that you will be informed and motivated by this website to collaborate with EPACT in extending a loving hand toward uplifting and empowering families who find themselves at-risk or in crises. After all, our communities are only as strong and healthy as the families who live in them.

I envisioned EPACT in 2006 while facilitating nurturing parenting skills classes. At that time, I realized the best way to advocate in the “best interests of the child” is to put forth a loving, helping hand towards the family. I believe encouraging and empowering families with knowledge and resources is the best way to serve the needs of the children. Nothing spells “security” to a child as much as being in a loving, nurturing, stable environment with his or her birth family.
